A site dedicated to a homemade garden Moth Trap and the amazing contents found within. My interest was sparked in 2009 by my then 4 year old son, Louie. He and his sister Keely help me in the mornings, photographing and releasing the contents of this Bedfordshire trap. I hope you enjoy the Blog!

Mystery Micro?.........Solved!
Taken through a specimen pot, maybe enough to get an ID? Well it's an Epinotiaimmundana ofcourse! Many thanks to Ben Sale
Hi Matt, yes enough to get an ID.
ReplyDeleteThat diamond shape on the back is distinctive, and that makes it the very variable Epinotia immundana.
All the best.
Thanks Ben, I didn't get many micros last night compared to some........
