Lately as a side line I've been feeding some Emperor Moth caterpillars. I've found them to be very greedy Hawthorn feeders. This requires a lot of my time, so I'm glad some have started to spin cocoons!.....

I started with 12 of these critters, unfortunately I lost one. Out of the 11 I have left, 5 have spun cocoons already.................watch this space for more news.............
