Year Review 2018

A total of 522 species in 2018 was a joint record breaking year with 2013, though the ratio of Micros and Macros was very different.
In 2013, a still unbeaten 304 Macros and 218 Micros were logged.
This year, 281 Macros was my 3rd highest, with the attention to Micros paying dividends; an all-time record of 241 species, the previous best being 230 in 2016.
I would like to thank David Manning (DVM) and Andy Banthorpe (AMB) for their assistance with Gen dets.
