Hi Matt, I only have one trap. Last year I took 800 odd individuals of 117 sp in it, my best ever. Thats fully the trap, no garden ticks or mines later...I wonder what the best is?
ReplyDeleteThat's pretty special!- I never get the numbers of individuals you do. If I wasn't overlooked and used a Robinson with MV, I could probably get more. Skinner's don't retain as much, so you have to patrol during the night and collect any notables. I'm sure given the right night/location/trap, you could quite easily get a lot more. 117 species in your neck of the woods is going some though..........
